Ratnagiri Gas & Power Ltd (RGPL) is set to sign PPA with Indian Railways in June 2015. The move will help the company to start power production from its Dabhol power plant, which has stopped functioning after gas shortage from Reliance KG gas fields. The company is also looking at reviving PPA’s with Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and also Goa. The plant is expected to generate atleast 500 MW of power.
