Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company Ltd (GESCOM) has invited five tenders inviting bids totaling 2,990 kW of grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) projects on government buildings located within its jurisdiction in the state of Karnataka. These five tenders are for the government buildings within the five circles of Ballari, Bidar, Kalaburagi, Koppal, and Raichur. In total, 92 rooftop solar installations are to be completed under the five tenders.
The scope of work includes detailed engineering, complete manufacturing, including shop testing of equipment and materials. The successful bidder will be responsible for all the required activities for the successful running, optimum energy generation, and maintenance of the solar PV power projects for ten years.
