Rattan India plans phase II of Amravati power plant

Rattan India plans phase II of Amravati power plant in Nandgaonpeth in Amravati district of Maharashtra. The project involves setting up of 5 x 270 MW coal based power generation unit. The project has signed Fuel Supply Agreements with South Coalfields Limited (SECL) which is a subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL). The railway line between Walgaon and Amravati power plant has also completed ensuring timely regular coal supply to the plant. Long term PPA for 1,200 MW has been signed with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Lt. (MSEDCL)
