Indian government is planning to add about 1.91 lakh circuit kilometer (ckm) of transmission line and 1257 GVA transformation capacity by 2032. The project is a part of National Electricity Plan to commensurate with generation capacity. The project is prepared by Central Electricity Authority. The total cost is estimated at ₹ 4,25,222 Crore.
