About the Company :
Tata Power Green Energy Ltd, the wholly owned subsidiary of The Tata Power Company Limited (TPCL) started operations in the year March 2007. It was set up for developing power projects through renewable energy sources in India.
As on March 31, 2020, TPREL (Standalone) has 1187.2 MW of solar and wind assets [incl Vagarai Wind Farm Limited (21 MW) and Indorama Renewable Jath Ltd (30 MW)] an Further, Walwhan Renewables Energy which is a 100% subsidiary of TPREL has an operational capacities of renewable energy of 1,010 MW, out of which 864 MW is solar and 146 MW is wind power as on March 31, 2020. TPREL with all these assets, has renewable assets portfolio of about 2.6 GW making it one of the largest Renewable Power Companies in India.
Going forward, all the further capacity additions will be housed under TPREL. TPREL has pipeline of 820 MW projects under implementation as on June 30, 2020
