Nuclear Power Corp is planning to set up a nuclear power plant in Gorakhpur village in Fatehbad district of Haryana. The project involves setting up of 4 x 700 Mwe of pressurised heavy water reactors (PHWR) Department of Atomic Energy has approved the site and the company is under the process of land acquisition.
