Adani Group floated a Special Purpose Vehicle – Adani Mining Private Limited (100% Subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Limited) in August 2007 with the purpose to undertake activities related to development and operation of domestic coal mine.
Selected as a Joint Venture (JV) Partner by Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) and formed a JV company Parsa Kante Collieries Ltd. (PKCL) to undertake development and operation of Parsa East and Kanta Basan Coal Blocks in the state of Chhattisgarh with peak production capacity of 15 MTPA.
