About the Company :
Jain Energy Ltd has signed a MoU with the Govt. of Chhattisgarh for setting up a 1200 MW coal based super critical power plant at Jangir- Champa and Korba districts. The project is proposed to be implemented over a period of 48 months. The plant, envisaged to be spread over 1000 acres, will provide employment directly and indirectly to over 5000 people. Development Consultants Pvt. Ltd. are the technical consultants to the project and considerable progress including on land acquisition, completion of Public Hearings ,Forest clearance, Water allotment has already been achieved.
JEL has also signed a MoU with the Government of Madhya Pradesh for setting up a 1320 MW Thermal Power Plant in Madhya Pradesh.
