About the Company :
Jhajjar Power Ltd, a subsidiary of CLP Power had set up a plant of 1,320 MW (2 x 660 MW) domestic coal based power project located at Village Khanpur, Dist. Jhajjar, Haryana, using supercritical technology that uses less coal to generate electricity. Eighty-five per cent of it capacity is contracted for supply to the Haryana DISCOMs (UHBVNL and DHBVNL) and the remaining available capacity will be sold outside the state of Haryana to Tata Power. Equipments used were Harbin Boilers, Dong Fang Turbines and Generators.
