BHEL has received work orders from Nuclear Power Corp of India Ltd for supplying primary side heat exchangers. The contract is worth of ₹ 970 million. BHEL will design, manufacture and supply our moderator Heat Exchangers and 18 D2O Heat Exchangers for the 2×700 MWe Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors to be installed at Gorakhpur nuclear plant.
BHEL will manufacture the equipment at its Bhopal production facility. It may be noted that, BHEL has so far supplied over 40 steam generators for various nuclear power installations in the country.
