About the Company :
Dishergarh Power Supply Company Ltd. (DPSCL) a Kanoria Group company was established to take over certain existing generating plants to supply electricity energy to collieries in the neighbourhood of Dishergarh near Asansol. At present, the Company holds two licences viz., Dishergarh Electric Licence, 1932 and Associated Power (Bengal) Electric Licence, 1934. The Main Object of the Company is to supply and generate Electricity.
Its 12MW thermal power project at Dishergarh is in commissioning stage and the Company has received all necessary approvals required for commencing operations for this project. Its 2 x 270 MW thermal generation project also has made progress as the Company has received water allocation for the first phase and other necessary consents and approvals for the project are also under way.
