About the Company :

Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUN) has been entrusted with the job of development of power projects under state sector, in the state along with operation & maintenance of state owned power stations. Government of Rajasthan constituted the Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. (RRVUNL).

RRVUNL supplies power to state DISCOM’s namely; Jaipur Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited (JVVNL), Ajmer Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited (AVVNL) and Jodhpur Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited (JDVVNL). It procures Coal from subsidiaries of Coal India Ltd. (CIL) apart from captive coal block(s) in the State of Chhattisgarh. Besides, it has fuel supply agreements with ONGC, GAIL and Focus Energy for supply of GAS.
