About the Company :
TRN Energy Private Limited is a subsidiary of ACB (India) Power Limited. The company was formed on November 17, 2006. On May 19, 2009 ACB (India) Limited had acquired 51% in the Company.
On January 15, 2010, an implementation agreement was signed by the company with the Government of Chhattisgarh with regard to the establishment of 600 MW coal fired thermal power project in Chhattisgarh.
On January 4, 2011, the company has signed a long term Power Purchase Agreement with Govt. of Chhattisgarh for sale of 35% of Power generated from upcoming 600 MW Power Plant.
