Arunachal Pradesh has to receive Rs. 9250 million towards strengthening power and distribution network. It will be used to for refurbishing old 11 KV lines and conversion of select old lines to long high voltage distribution lines. The objective is to push 100% electrification of all villages. Of the remaining 900 villages to be electrified, 600 remains in Arunachal Pradesh.
