About the Company :
AllGreen Energy has been founded to promote gasification power plants using agricultural waste. The company employ the gasification technology of the Indian Institute of Science (IISC) based in Bangalore, India. This proven technology, which also incorporates thermal activation of charcoal to produce activated carbon, is low cost, very efficient, and is considered to have several unique advantages compared to other biomass to energy technologies. Reliance Groups venture capital arm has invested in this company.
The company has formed Perundurai Green Energy Pvt Ltd (PGEPL), which is a 100% subsidiary of All-Green India to set up a 6.5 MW Biomass project based on Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (BIGCC) technology developed by Indian Institute of sciences and Producer Gas Engines sourced from GE Janbacher. The project cost is ~Rs 57 crores and is being funded through Rs 35 crore and debt and balance equity.
It also plans to set up similar plants in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
